As the air of November gets colder settles in, we are invited into a deeper frequency — one where the heart becomes our compass, our anchor, and our channel for coherence. This month, we explore Heart Intelligence — not just as an emotion, but as a living field of energy that harmonizes body, mind, and soul.
Our heart is more than a muscle; it’s a portal. It listens to the cosmos, translates frequency into feeling, and communicates with every cell through rhythm and resonance.
In this season of slowing down, the world draws inward. The trees release, the light softens, and nature reminds us to listen deeply. Beneath the surface stillness, your heart continues its sacred rhythm — a steady drumbeat of life and connection.
When we attune to this rhythm, something extraordinary happens: our entire being reorganizes into coherence. This is where clarity, ease, and vitality flow from — the alignment between breath, heartbeat, and consciousness.
According to the HeartMath Institute, when the heart, brain, and emotions move into rhythm, we enter a state of physiological harmony. This “coherence” stabilizes the nervous system, enhances intuition, and even supports immune strength. Spiritually, as David Clements teaches, the heart is a bridge — between human and divine, self and source. When the heart is coherent, it emits a coherent electromagnetic field, harmonizing both our inner biology and the environment around us. Coherence isn’t something we force. It’s something we remember. Each breath, each moment of presence, returns us to the intelligence of love and increases our collective consciousness.
Embodiment & Meditation Tools
Heart-Focused Breathing Place a hand over your heart. Inhale for five seconds through the heart; exhale for five seconds through the heart. Repeat for 3–5 minutes. Feel the rhythm. Feel your coherence building.
Golden Heart Light Meditation (Pam Gregory-inspired) Visualize a golden light glowing in your heart. With each breath, let it expand — filling your body, your room, and the space around you. Whisper inwardly: “I align my heart with universal intelligence.”
Gratitude Activation Before sleep, write down three heart-warming moments from the day. Then ask: “What does my heart want me to know tonight?” Listen in stillness.
Nutritional Support for Coherence
As the season cools, the body seeks warmth and grounding. Support your heart and nervous system through mindful nourishment:
Warming foods: roasted roots, lentil stews, soups, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon.
Magnesium-rich foods: pumpkin seeds, cacao, spinach, almonds — relax the heart and steady the nerves.
Heart herbs: hawthorn berry, rose, and tulsi support emotional balance and circulation.
Mindful eating: place a hand over your heart before your first bite and silently bless your meal.

Hydrate with intention — herbal teas, warm lemon water, or mineral-rich broths keep your inner flow vibrant.
The Heart, Water & Coherence
Our bodies are mostly water — yet this water is far from static. Dr. Gerald Pollack’s research reveals a fourth phase of water, known as Exclusion Zone (EZ) Water — a structured, crystalline state that forms next to our cell membranes. This water holds charge, stores light, and behaves like a living conductor. EZ water is coherent water — it organizes itself harmoniously, just like a symphony of molecules. And remarkably, the state of your heart and emotions influences it. When we are calm, loving, and in resonance, our inner waters become more structured. When we are chaotic or stressed, they lose coherence.
Ways to enhance EZ Water and support coherence:
Sunlight — natural light charges and structures intracellular water. You can also use infra red light (sauna for example) to increase EZ water.
Movement — yoga, walking, or gentle dance promote fluid flow and energy.
Nature contact — barefoot on grass or near water sources builds charge and order.
Hydrate with presence — drink clean, mineral-rich water slowly, with gratitude.
Eat vibrant foods — fresh fruits, greens, and sprouts contain natural structured water that feeds your cells’ light. Green juicing is a great way to get a boost of EZ water.
Heart coherence and EZ water are two sides of the same miracle: frequency made visible. When your heart is coherent, your water becomes crystalline — and when your water is structured, your whole body becomes a vessel of light. It's the 1st thing we learn in Naturopathy.
The Gut–Heart Connection
Our journey of coherence continues deep into the body — into the gut, our second heart. The trillions of microbes within us communicate constantly with the heart through the vagus nerve, shaping mood, rhythm, and emotional flow. A balanced gut microbiome creates biochemical and energetic coherence. The beneficial bacteria produce neurotransmitters and even biophotons — tiny packets of light — that support calm, joy, and intuition, all qualities of the coherent heart. Even the structured water within our cells is influenced by the gut. When digestion flows smoothly and the microbiome thrives, EZ water forms naturally, helping energy move freely through the body. We can actually question if fermented drinks like Water kefir could actually be made of EZ water?!
To nourish this inner harmony:
Enjoy fermented and fibre-rich foods daily.
Drink warm, mineral-rich water between meals.
Add bitter greens or digestive teas to keep flow and tone.
Eat with awareness — the way you digest experience mirrors how you digest food.
The more harmony within your gut, the more coherence within your heart. The two pulse together — one field, one song.
Here is a nice recipe to lift you into Heart Coherence: Golden Root & Greens Stew
This warming stew brings together root vegetables for grounding, leafy greens for magnesium and flow, and warming spices that enhance circulation and emotional steadiness. Each ingredient supports heart intelligence, gut harmony, and cellular hydration — coherence you can taste and enjoy!
Ingredients (Serves 2–3)
1 tbsp olive or coconut oil
1 small red onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 thumb-sized piece of ginger, grated
1 tsp turmeric powder (or fresh turmeric, grated)
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 medium carrot, chopped
1 parsnip or sweet potato, chopped
1 cup red lentils (rinsed)
3 cups vegetable stock
2 handfuls of greens (kale, chard, or spinach)
Juice of ½ lemon
Sea salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh coriander (optional)
Directions
Heat the oil in a large pan. Add onion, garlic, ginger, turmeric, and cumin seeds. Sauté gently until aromatic.
Add carrots and parsnip (or sweet potato) and stir through.
Add lentils and broth. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 20–25 minutes, until soft and golden.
Stir in the greens for the last few minutes until they wilt.
Season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
This month, let your heart be the rhythm that guides your life. Feel coherence in your breath, your food, your water, your words. Every choice you make ripples through the field of life, harmonizing all that surrounds you.
Affirmation: “My heart is my compass. My water is my light. I live in harmony with the rhythm of the cosmos.”

The Fermentation Club at Bacareto: Winter Season
Our third gut gathering will take place on Wednesday 21st of January 2026 and will celebrate the theme of Fermented Grains, Flakes and Flours: Breads, porridges and drinks. The evening will be a delicious blend of tasting, sharing and learning, in a relaxed, community-centred atmosphere.
We’re honoured to welcome our special guest speaker, Mark Stevens, Founder of the Cardiff-based bakery Riverside Sourdough. With years of experience making sourdough breads, Mark will give us a great insight into the art of making traditional sourdough breads and present a 'getting-started' demo.
*Bring a small pot or jar if you'd like to take some 'sourdough starter' to take away. There will be time for a Q&A too!
