June 2021 – ABUNDANCE

I hope you all enjoyed your May Half term/ bank holiday break, it was so lovely to enjoy some warmth and sunshine!

What is abundance?

Health, wellbeing, freedom from anxiety, true love, money, job satisfaction, self-actualization?

All these beautiful things may seem hard to find but are they really?

As we create our own reality, it is our choice to open up to abundance.

Here are some ways to improve and attract it in your direction:

• Appreciate small, beautiful and simple things.

Something like a flower, a tree, your dog’s eyes.

Look intensely, take time, notice the sensations they bring to you and appreciate every bit of loveliness that you see before you.

• Embrace the outdoors

Go for a walk. Do some gardening. Even stand at your open window and breathe in and out very slowly. This is so easy to reach that balance and peace!

• Be kind.

Do something nice for somebody, even a stranger, do it with your all a heart and no expectations. Listen.

• Meditate.

Even if it’s just for a few minutes, calm down the chatter in your brain and open up to your own vibration.

• Eat healthy, nourishing foods.

Eating clean foods shows much more respect to your body and helps you open up to more abundance as things don't feel as clogged up and higher energies are released!

See what happens when you create that space for yourself!

We are coming to the end of the spring (Wood) season and heading towards the summer season on the 21st of this month (Fire). Green foods and drinks are still important for detoxing and there is an abundance of greens around and new veg starting to come like salads, celery, courgettes, asparagus (which is a great diuretic and pre biotic for your gut), so keep including those fibers in your diet!

But this month, we are starting to see red fruits and veg, cherries and strawberries, tomatoes. Rhubarb is my favourite and great in water kefir!

In June and as we see courgettes, aubergines, tomatoes and peppers coming out, I love making a nice Ratatouille - so easy and tasty, it just takes me back home!

Just cook some onion and garlic in a deep pan with olive oil, add all your diced veg, a pinch of herbes de provence and salt, cover and let it simmer for half an hour!

It's so delicious with brown rice or quinoa!

My motto for this month is:

I am at peace with myself.

I feel the power and energy in me.

I surrender.
